Almanac Diplomatique has a policy of only accepting articles written in English.

***

After submission, articles are read by one of the editors and the journal manager, and within 3 weeks the author(s) get a reply: This is either a reject, request for a desk review or notice that the article is sent to peer review. According to the content of the articles, at least two referees who have up-to-date studies in the relevant field and are experts in the subject are determined. The referee suggestions from the field editor are evaluated by the editor-in-chief and relevant referees are assigned to the studies. The referees evaluate the study and report on it.
