Abstract
This study is guided by the central research question: How does armed conflict transform media structures, truth production, and public trust in Sudan between 2023 and 2025? Methodologically, the article adopts a qualitative analytical approach combining document analysis of international media reports, discourse analysis of official and parallel media outputs, and comparative interpretation grounded in conflict communication theory. The article examines the transformation of the Sudanese media landscape between 2023 and 2025 under conditions of armed conflict. It argues that Sudan represents a paradigmatic case of post-truth communication in conflict zones, where media institutions are simultaneously targets, tools, and arenas of war. The article as well contributes to media and diplomacy studies by linking conflict journalism, propaganda, and post-war media reconstruction.
